Top Construction Industry Podcasts for Marketing Insights
Most lists of construction podcasts were written years ago and never checked again. In October 2026 we went back through 31 shows and asked two questions: is it still publishing, and how much of it is about marketing? Nine passed. Here they are, with an episode to start each one.
How we judged them
We checked 31 construction podcasts on Apple Podcasts in October 2026. A show had to pass all four tests.
Still publishing
An episode in the last 90 days.
Well rated
4.5 or higher on Apple Podcasts (US).
Real marketing content
At least 2 of the latest 20 episode titles about marketing.
Made for construction businesses
GCs, builders, remodelers, commercial firms or trades, not homeowners.
Checked, not copied
Ratings and episode dates read from Apple Podcasts, October 7 and 19, 2026.
Reviewed by hand, 20261019. Nobody pays for a place on this list.
Most of the 31 are good shows. They just aren’t about winning work. Many cover building science, construction tech, safety, law or leadership, and five hadn’t published an episode in more than 90 days. Of the 31, 19 had no marketing titles at all among their latest episodes. That’s fine if you want those topics. If you want ideas for getting more of the right jobs, the list gets short.
How we chose
A show made this list if it passed all four tests:
- Still publishing: an episode in the last 90 days.
- Well rated: 4.5 or higher on Apple Podcasts (US). Spotify didn’t show ratings when we checked.
- Real marketing content: at least 10% of recent episodes about marketing, meaning two or more of the latest 20 episode titles.
- Made for construction businesses: GCs, builders, remodelers, commercial firms or trades, not homeowners.
Nine shows passed. One, Business for Builders, only just made the activity cut: its latest episode was 88 days old on October 19. Rating counts range from 3 to 436, so give a 5.0 on a handful of ratings less weight. Shows are ordered by their share of marketing episodes.
The shows that missed aren’t bad, they’re about something else. If you want the craft, The Fine Homebuilding Podcast and Modern Craftsman are the most-rated shows in our set. For construction technology, try The ConTechCrew or Digital Builder. For contracts and payment, Construction Law Today is still publishing. None of them had a marketing title among its latest episodes, which is why they’re not on this list.
How we collected the data
- Ratings, episode counts and release dates: Apple Podcasts, checked October 7, 2026, with activity rechecked October 19, 2026.
- Episodes in the last 90 days: counted from Apple’s episode list, July 21 to October 19, 2026.
- Marketing share: judged from episode titles only. A show can cover marketing in an episode whose title doesn’t say so, so treat the share as a floor.
The podcasts
Contractor Cents
Made for: Home service and trade contractors, especially HVAC. Episodes in the last 90 days: 13. Marketing titles: 6 of 20 (30%). Apple rating: 4.9 (28 ratings).
A weekly show on the money and management side of a contracting business, with marketing as a regular topic. Recent titles cover why ads fail (a two-part episode), getting found in AI search tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini, and turning customers into a referral source. Recent episodes run 20 minutes or less, which fits a drive between jobs.
Start with: Episode 438, “Stop Paying for Leads: Let Your Customers Do the Marketing” (August 10, 2026, 20 minutes). A guest argues that word of mouth still beats paid ads, and that it starts with how technicians talk to customers.
The Contractor Fight
Made for: Residential contractors. Episodes in the last 90 days: 18. Marketing titles: 6 of 20 (30%). Apple rating: 4.8 (404 ratings).
Sales, pricing and running the business for residential contractors, in short, direct episodes: the latest 20 have a median length of about 12 minutes. It has published more than 1,150 episodes since 2015 and is still putting out more than one a week. The marketing content leans toward selling: qualifying leads, holding your price and refusing to discount. That’s the half of marketing most contractors skip.
Start with: “3 Things That Make Customers Accept Premium Pricing” (July 27, 2026, 17 minutes). Why “your price is too high” usually means the customer hasn’t seen enough evidence that you’re worth more.
Business for Builders Podcast
Made for: Residential builders and remodelers. Episodes in the last 90 days: 1. Marketing titles: 6 of 20 (30%). Apple rating: 5.0 (3 ratings).
Business coaching for residential builders: pricing systems, markup versus margin, how to talk price with clients, and referrals. Nearly 300 episodes since 2020. The catch is the pace. There has been one episode in the last 90 days, so treat the back catalog as the main value, and note the rating rests on three reviews.
Start with: “If You Want More Referrals in 2026, Listen To This” (June 25, 2026, 29 minutes). Five points on turning each client into someone who sends you the next one.
Construction Champions Podcast
Made for: Construction business owners. Episodes in the last 90 days: 7. Marketing titles: 3 of 20 (15%). Apple rating: 5.0 (16 ratings).
Interviews with people running construction companies, on growth, pricing, getting paid and, more and more, AI. About 330 episodes since 2023. The marketing episodes are practical: social media for winning work and hiring, personal branding, and selling outcomes instead of price.
Start with: “How Personal Branding Can Grow Your Construction Business” (September 17, 2026, 39 minutes). A returning guest who owns a construction company explains what building a public profile has done for her business.
Remodelers On The Rise
Made for: Remodeling company owners. Episodes in the last 90 days: 13. Marketing titles: 2 of 16 (12.5%). Apple rating: 5.0 (66 ratings).
Apple files this one under Marketing, and it is the show here most focused on how remodelers win clients: sales, websites, client experience and, lately, AI. More than 400 episodes since 2014. We could only check its latest 16 titles, so the marketing share is based on 16, not 20.
Start with: “The Most Important Page on Your Website” (July 9, 2026, 47 minutes). Why featured project pages carry so much weight on a remodeler’s site, with a guest from Contractor Growth Network, one of the agencies in our construction marketing agencies list.
Construction Genius
Made for: Commercial construction leaders. Episodes in the last 90 days: 13. Marketing titles: 2 of 20 (10%). Apple rating: 4.8 (172 ratings).
Leadership for commercial construction: hiring, operations, succession, bonding and practical AI. Around 400 episodes since 2019, weekly. Marketing shows up as business development, meaning how commercial firms find, win and keep clients on large projects, which is closer to how a GC actually gets work than most marketing advice.
Start with: “How to Hire Business Developers Who Can Sell Large Commercial Projects” (October 13, 2026, 48 minutes). What to test before you hire a business developer, and how to know within six months if the hire is working.
Dirt Talk Podcast

Career and leadership tactics for people working their way up in construction companies. It publishes irregularly: three episodes in the last 90 days, after a gap of about a year. Small catalog, 56 episodes since 2018, but the recent ones are short and focused.
Start with: “Building your Executive Brand” (August 9, 2026, 19 minutes). How reputation inside your company and your market gets built, and why being seen and being trusted are not the same thing.

Where to start if you only have an hour
If you only listen to three episodes this month, make it these. They come to 61 minutes in total, about one round trip to a job site, and each covers a different part of winning work: who to sell to, how buyers find you now, and how to get noticed in your market.
- “Why The Best Salespeople Disqualify More Than They Sell”, The Contractor Fight (9 minutes). Wrong budget, wrong timeline, homeowners collecting estimates: how to spot the jobs you shouldn’t chase.
- Episode 444, “How to Rank in ChatGPT, Gemini & Other AI Searches”, Contractor Cents (19 minutes). A starting point on how AI search tools find and describe contractors.
- “How Social Media Is Helping Contractors Win More Work and Hire Better People”, Construction Champions (33 minutes). A working construction owner on brand, hiring and what’s working now.
